46A-4-25. Directors--Annual election--Nomination--Election by receiving highest number of votes--Date for elections. Each year after establishing the district, there shall be elected for a term of three years one or more members of the board of directors, as the case may be. The member of the board of directors from each division shall be nominated as hereinafter provided and shall be elected by receiving the highest number of votes cast by the electors of the division in the irrigation district for which he is to serve as a director. The regular election of such districts shall be held on the last Tuesday in October.
