46A-7-13. District under contract with United States--Different deficiency assessment--Governed by provisions of approved contract. Where an irrigation district organized under the laws of this state is under contract with the United States providing for a different deficiency assessment than is prescribed in § 46A-7-12, the provisions of such contract shall govern such district in making its assessments, provided such contract has been approved by the necessary majority vote of the owners of the land affected at an election properly called for such purpose.
