46A-7A-158. Wildlife habitat loss mitigation--Contract requirements--Enforcement. The district shall be responsible for mitigation measures required in any contract with the United States for wildlife habitat losses on lands irrigated within the district. Any individual landowner obligation for mitigation, as established by the board, shall be incorporated in water service contracts with landowners. The board may terminate water service or take other appropriate enforcement action for nonperformance of such contract.
