46A-7A-25. Conduct, canvass, recount, and contest of elections. Any election shall be conducted, canvassed, recounted, and contested as other elections under the general laws of this state, unless the general election laws conflict with the provisions of this chapter. If details concerning conduct, canvassing, recounting, or contest of an election are not set forth in this chapter and the general election laws are not applicable, the state board shall promulgate rules pursuant to chapter 1-26 to carry out the intentions of this chapter with respect to elections.
