46A-7A-37. Time director assumes duties. Any director elected in compliance with § 46A-7A-24 shall enter immediately into the duties of his office upon qualifying as provided in § 46A-7A-38 and shall hold his office until the next regular election of the district, when his successor is elected and qualified. Any director elected thereafter shall assume the duties of his office on the last Tuesday in November after his election and shall hold his office until his successor is elected and qualified.
