46A-7A-47. Conflict of interests prohibited--Violation as felony. No director or officer of the district may be interested in any manner, directly or indirectly, in any contract awarded by the district or in the profits to be derived therefrom, nor may he receive any gratuity or bribe. Any director or officer who is interested in any manner, directly or indirectly, in any contract awarded by the board or in the profits derived therefrom, or who receives any gratuity or bribe, is guilty of a Class 5 felony.
