50-2-29. Hearing on appeal--Notice--Trial de novo--Appeal to Supreme Court. An appeal pursuant to § 50-2-27 shall be brought on for hearing before the proper circuit court at the next regular term of the court, or the appeal may be brought on for hearing upon twenty days' notice by either party. The parties are entitled to a trial de novo by the court upon all issues of law and fact involved. From the decision of the circuit court on such appeals, an appeal may be had to the Supreme Court the same as other decisions of the circuit court.
