50-6A-2. Creation of regional airport authority by joint resolution of subdivisions. Any subdivision or any two or more subdivisions, whether in this state or in an adjoining state, provided that at least one subdivision is in South Dakota, may by joint resolution, create a public body, corporate and politic, to be known as a regional airport authority which shall be authorized to exercise its functions upon the issuance by the secretary of state of a certificate of incorporation.
