50-11-1. Operation of aircraft not registered with federal Department of Transportation as misdemeanor. It is a Class 2 misdemeanor for any person to operate, pilot, navigate, or cause or authorize to be operated, piloted, or navigated, an aircraft within the state unless it has an appropriate, current registration issued by the United States Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration.
