Section 58-5A-18 - Acquisition or merger without approval as misdemeanor.
58-5A-18. Acquisition or merger without approval as misdemeanor. The effectuation or any attempt to effectuate an acquisition of control of, or merger with, a domestic insurer unless the director has given his approval thereto shall be a Class 2 misdemeanor.
