58-17C-47. Prohibition against compensation influencing or based upon review decisions. Compensation to persons providing utilization review services for a health carrier may not contain incentives, direct or indirect, for these persons to make inappropriate review decisions. Compensation to any such persons may not be based, directly or indirectly, on the quantity or type of adverse determinations rendered.
