9-43-45. Delinquency date of installments under Plan Two--Payment of installments to municipal treasurer before maturity--Interest on installments. Each of the installments under Plan Two shall become delinquent May first, and thereafter shall draw interest and penalty and be certified to the county auditor and county treasurer as provided by § 9-43-49. Any installment may be paid to the municipal treasurer at any time before maturity in which case interest shall be collected only to the time of payment and the lien of the assessment be discharged to the extent of such payment. All installments not paid during the thirty-day period shall draw interest from the date of the filing of the roll in the office of the municipal treasurer at the rate prescribed by the governing body until delinquent, at which time they shall draw interest and penalty as delinquent installments.
