9-43-70. Transfer of special assessment bonds or certificates to special assessment accounts--Assessment collections used for debt retirement. Special assessment bonds or certificates may be transferred and appropriated to the special assessment accounts in the same manner and to the same extent as provided in § 9-43-64 for the transfer of such bonds or certificates to general obligation bond sinking funds. All collections of assessments in respect of assessment bonds or certificates so transferred shall be held in and used only for the purposes of debt retirement.
