13-18-128. Statutory purpose Liberal construction.
The provisions of this chapter are declared to be remedial in nature to reduce the reliance of Tennessee on imported energy products, and the provisions of this chapter shall be liberally construed to effectuate its purposes and provide for the most rapid development of major energy projects consistent with public health and safety.
