22-5-312. Discharge during trial. [Effective in Certain Counties. See the Compiler’s Notes.]

Should a juror, either in a civil or criminal action, during the process of a trial, become so unwell that, in the opinion of the court, the juror is unable to serve, the juror may be discharged, and another juror summoned instanter, impaneled, and the trial recommenced.
