3-15-207. Report concerning model dropout prevention program Report of duties and responsibilities assigned to Department of Children's Services.

(a)  Until such time as the select committee on children and youth terminates pursuant to the provisions of § 3-15-206, the commissioner of education shall report at least once each year to a joint meeting of the select committee on children and youth and the select oversight committee on education concerning the performance of duties and responsibilities assigned by the provisions of this section and § 49-1-520 concerning funding recommendations.

(b)  Until such time as the select committee terminates, the commissioner of children's services shall report at least once each year, and as may be called upon by the committee or subcommittee thereof, concerning the performance of duties and responsibilities assigned by law to the department of children's services.
