4-3-2307. Travel and tourism signage programs.

The commissioner is authorized to develop guidelines for municipal tourism/wayfinding informational signage programs. Such guidelines may include, but are not limited to, construction, placement and safety standards. The commissioner is urged to consult with interested municipalities in the development of this program. Such municipalities may participate in the development of such guidelines; provided, that nothing in this section shall be construed as requiring any municipality to participate in, or undertake construction of, a municipal tourism/wayfinding information signage program.
