41-21-516. Cooperation of public officials and agencies.

All public officials in the state shall provide whatever aid necessary to the division of rehabilitative services and the department of correction in the accomplishment of the requirements set forth in this part. The commissioners of education, personnel, labor and workforce development, and finance and administration shall assure that appropriate departmental staff members are familiar with these provisions and that full cooperation is afforded the department of correction in carrying out the spirit and intent of this part.
