49-10-808. Appointment and compensation of personnel.

The commissioner of human services, with the approval of the department of personnel, is empowered to appoint and fix the compensation of officers, agents or members of the institutions that may be necessary to carry out §§ 49-10-804 49-10-807, including their traveling and other necessary expenses.
