54-7-102. Application of chapter.

(a)  This chapter applies to all counties of the state, except those counties having populations of not less than two hundred thousand (200,000), according to the 1970 federal census or any subsequent federal census.

(b)  However, all counties, except those of not less than two hundred thousand (200,000), shall be subject to and not be exempted from all amendments to this chapter as amended by the Public Acts of 1980.
