56-13-111. Companies deemed incorporated under corporation law.

All captive insurance companies incorporated under the laws of this state shall be deemed to be incorporated under the general corporation law of this state; but, excepting any existing insurance laws that purport to prescribe the law under which captive insurance companies are incorporated, no law specially or expressly applicable to insurance companies or the business of insurance shall be in any way repealed, modified, or affected by this section.
