67-1-507. Oath of office.

(a)  Each assessor shall take and subscribe to the following oath of office, before the county mayor, which oath shall be attached to and filed with the bond of the assessor in the office of the county clerk, viz:

(b)  Each deputy assessor shall likewise take the oath and file the oath with the county clerk before entering upon the discharge of duties.
