71-2-412. Rules and regulations.

(a)  The commissioner is authorized to promulgate rules and regulations to effectuate the purposes of this part. All such rules and regulations shall be promulgated in accordance with the provisions of the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act, compiled in title 4, chapter 5.

(b)  All rules and regulations promulgated to effectuate the purposes of this part shall also be reviewed by the senate general welfare, health and human resources committee and the house health and human resources committee.
