71-5-128. Contracts with health maintenance organizations Requirements.

Notwithstanding any other provision of the law to the contrary, the department of health shall follow, as nearly as is practicable, the requirements of 42 U.S.C. § 1395mm, as amended, together with any federal rules and regulations promulgated pursuant to such law, with respect to a health maintenance organization with which the state has entered into a contract for the provision of services under this part.
