71-5-1306. Rules and regulations.

The department of health is authorized to promulgate regulations pursuant to the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act, compiled in title 4, chapter 5, as necessary to implement the provisions of this part. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the commissioner of health is authorized to promulgate such initial rules as public necessity rules pursuant to § 4-5-209.
