8-30-221. Political and religious considerations.
In applying the provisions of this chapter, or in doing any of the things herein provided for, no person shall give any weight to political or religious opinions or affiliations, or to race, national origin, or other nonmerit factors. No person holding a position in the career service shall solicit, or be in any manner concerned with soliciting, subscriptions or contributions for any political party or political purpose.
