39-1-21. Adjutant general -- Salary -- Bond.
The adjutant general shall receive a salary established by the governor within the salaryrange fixed by the Legislature in Title 67, Chapter 22, State Officer Compensation. He shall givean official bond to the state in the penal sum of $10,000 to cover all duties imposed and officesconferred by law or authority on the adjutant general. He shall devote all of his time during theoffice hours of the military department to the duties of his office.
