§ 305. Purchase or importation without certificate prohibited

A holder of a bottler's or a wholesale dealer's license issued under the provisions of section 226 or 227 of this title shall not purchase within or without the state, or import or cause to be imported into the state of Vermont, any malt or vinous beverages unless the person, partnership, manufacturer, association or corporation, or distributor from which such beverages are obtained by him then holds a valid certificate of approval issued by the liquor control board under the provisions of this title or a valid bottler's license.
