§ 4904. Use of light, snares, traps
A person shall not take a bird with the aid of a jack or other light. A person shall not take a wild bird by trapping, netting or snaring, or possess such a bird so taken, or set, place or use, where birds may be taken, a net, trap or snare for taking birds. Such a net, trap or snare is hereby declared to be a public nuisance and may be summarily abated and destroyed by any person, and game wardens shall seize and destroy such devices. The commissioner, however, may authorize the taking of birds by nets or traps or other devices, under such regulations as he may prescribe. (Added 1961, No. 119, § 1, eff. May 9, 1961.)
