§ 706w. Polling places, transportation and counting of ballots

Bond issues under sections 1751 to 1788 of Title 24 are to be determined by Australian ballot or voting machine; each regular polling place in each district shall be used for this purpose. The board of civil authority of each town within the union district shall be responsible for determining the eligibility of persons to vote, the supervision of the election and the transportation of ballots in its district to a central point designated by the board of school directors. The ballots shall be commingled. Counting of ballots by representatives of the boards of civil authority of the member towns shall be supervised by the union district clerk or his or her designee.
