§ 735 -   Advisory committee

§ 735. Advisory committee

There shall be a motorcycle rider training program advisory committee to assist in the development of the motorcycle rider training program. The committee shall also monitor the program upon its implementation and report to the commissioner as necessary with recommendations including, but not limited to, the administration, application, the substance of the program, and the amount of fees which should be assessed upon program participants. The committee shall consist of seven members appointed by the commissioner and shall meet at the call of the commissioner. The committee shall elect, from its members, a chair, vice-chair and secretary. Members may include a representative of motorcycle instructors, riders, dealers, or manufacturers, as well as members of the general public. Members shall serve without compensation, but may be reimbursed for their travel expenses while engaged in committee business. (Added 1989, No. 268 (Adj. Sess.), § 1, eff.
