§ 279 - Local board to be in lieu of statutory board; general powers
§ 3-279. Local board to be in lieu of statutory board; general powers
The board of health created in section 277 of this chapter shall be for the city in lieu of the local board of health provided for by the general laws of this state, and shall have the powers conferred by those laws, subject to the orders and ordinances of the city council.
