§ 528. Board procedures

(a) Annually the board shall elect from among its members a chair and a vice chair, each to serve for one year. No person shall serve as chair or vice chair for more than three consecutive years.

(b) The board shall meet at least semiannually for the purpose of examining applicants, if applications are pending. Meetings may be called by the chair or upon the request of three other members.

(c) Meetings shall be warned and conducted in accordance with the provisions of chapter 5 of Title 1.

(d) A majority of the members of the board constitutes a quorum for transacting business and all action shall be taken upon a majority vote of the members present and voting. (Added 1991, No. 236 (Adj. Sess.), § 1.)
