§ 862 - Qualifications
§ 862. Qualifications
The board shall adopt rules under chapter 25 of Title 3 prescribing minimum educational requirements, training experience and professional standards necessary for practice pursuant to this chapter as a dental assistant. In adopting the rules, the board shall consider the need to improve the efficiency and reduce the cost of dental service in the state consistent with maintenance of the highest possible standards of dental care.
