§ 3015. Renewals
(a) Licenses shall be renewed every two years upon payment of the required fee.
(b) Two months prior to the expiration of the license, the director of the office of professional regulation shall forward to the holder a form or application of renewal. Upon the receipt of the completed form and the renewal fee, the director shall issue a new license.
(c) Any application for renewal of a license which has expired shall in addition require the payment of a reinstatement fee. A person reinstating shall not be required to pay renewal fees for the years during which the license was lapsed.

Upon application, the board may exempt from continuing education requirements a licensee on active duty in the armed forces of the United States, if obtaining continuing education credits would be impossible in practice or a significant hardship for the licensee.
