§ 44. Funds transfer for art

(a) The commissioner of buildings and general services, with the approval of the secretary of administration, may transfer up to $50,000.00 in any single fiscal year to the art acquisition fund, from capital funds appropriated for projects which are eligible for the installation of works of art under this chapter.

(b) Of the funds transferred under subsection (a) of this section, $7,500.00 shall be available for use by the council for the expenses of administering this chapter.

(c) Funds may be transferred under this section without further approval or appropriation by the general assembly. (Added 1987, No. 267 (Adj. Sess.), § 1; amended 1993, No. 233 (Adj.
