§ 506. Failure of county clerk to pay over
If a county clerk neglects to make a return or pay into the state treasury any money as provided in this chapter, the commissioner of finance and management shall forthwith notify the state's attorney, who shall immediately prosecute the clerk and the sureties on his or her official bond.
