§ 1-8. Notice, recognizance or process given, taken or issued before Code inforce.

Although a notice, recognizance or process shall have been given, taken orissued before the day prescribed for the commencement of this Code, or of anyprovisions of this Code, it may, nevertheless, be given, taken or returnableto a day after such commencement, or to a court established by this Code orthe clerk's office of such court, in like manner as if this Code hadcommenced before the same was given, taken, or issued.
