§ 1-220. Local ordinances incorporating state law by reference.

When counties, cities and towns are empowered to incorporate by referenceprovisions of the Code, acts of the General Assembly, or state regulationsinto a local ordinance, any ordinance incorporating by reference provisionsof the Code, acts of the General Assembly or state regulations may includefuture amendments to the provisions of the Code, acts of the General Assemblyor state regulations provided such intent is specifically stated in suchordinance.
