§ 1-229. Optional form of county government; effect of change in form.

Whenever any county, city, town, political subdivision, or combinationthereof is identified in an act of the General Assembly by reference to itsproximity to a county that has adopted an optional form of governmentprovided in Title 15.2, and that county changes its form of government, theact shall continue to apply to such county, city, town, politicalsubdivision, or combination thereof and shall cease to apply only upon thesubsequent enactment by the General Assembly of a measure in which suchintent clearly is stated.
