1-236 - Population classifications.

§ 1-236. Population classifications.

Any act of the General Assembly with a population classification applicableto any county, city, town, or subdivision of the Commonwealth or anycombination thereof shall continue to apply to any such body notwithstandingany subsequent change in population and shall apply to any county, city,town, or political subdivision of the Commonwealth or any combination thereofsubsequently falling within such population classification. The provisions ofthis section shall not apply to, or limit, the distribution of any statefunds, grants-in-aid, or other allocation from the state treasury, to anycounty, city, town, or other political subdivision of the Commonwealth.
