§ 10.1-1322.4. Permit modifications for alternative fuels or raw materials.

Unless required by federal law or regulation, no additional permit or permitmodifications shall be required by the Board for the use, by any source, ofan alternative fuel or raw material, if the owner demonstrates to the Boardthat as a result of trial burns at his facility or other facilities or othersufficient data that the emissions resulting from the use of the alternativefuel or raw material supply are decreased. To the extent allowed by federallaw or regulation, no demonstration shall be required for the use ofprocessed animal fat, processed fish oil, processed vegetable oil, distillateoil, or any mixture thereof in place of the same quantity of residual oil tofire industrial boilers.
