§ 10.1-707. Board duties; allocation of funds.

A. The Board shall (i) review the financial needs of localities forimplementation of this article; (ii) determine successful applicants; (iii)determine the equitable allocation of funds among participating localitiesexcept for allocations provided for in the current general appropriationsact; and (iv) oversee local implementation of approved projects.

B. The Department shall provide the Board with staff assistance and shallmaintain necessary financial records.
