§ 11-30. (Repealed effective October 1, 2010) Definitions.

The following words and phrases as used in this chapter, unless a differentmeaning is plainly required by the context, shall have the following meanings:

(a) "Cardholder" means the person or organization named on the face of acredit card to whom or for whose benefit the credit card was issued by anissuer.

(b) "Credit card" means any instrument or device, whether known as acredit card, credit plate, or by any other name, issued with or without feeby an issuer for the use of the cardholder in obtaining money, goods,services, or any other thing of value.

(c) "Issuer" means the business organization or financial institution orits duly authorized agent which issues a credit card.
