§ 13.1-1272. Entity conversion.

A. A domestic corporation, limited liability company, limited partnership,partnership and other entity may become a domestic business trust pursuant toa plan of entity conversion. Such a plan shall be adopted and approved by thedomestic entity in accordance with the procedures of this article.

B. A domestic business trust may become a domestic entity pursuant to a planof entity conversion that is authorized under the provisions of the Coderegulating the business and affairs of the entity type to which the domesticbusiness trust desires to convert.
