§ 15.2-1511.1. Written benefit information to certain employees.

If a local employee develops a life-threatening health condition, the localemployer shall provide such employee written notification of all relevantbenefit options and programs available to him, within 10 days of the datethat the employer was given notice of the serious health condition by theemployee or his agent, unless such information is otherwise provided annuallyby the local employer. The employer shall provide appropriate forms to theemployee so that the employee can communicate any election of benefit optionsto the employer in writing on the forms.
