§ 15.2-1537. Financial officer.

Every locality, unless otherwise provided for by general law or special actor unless such functions are performed by the constitutional offices oftreasurer and commissioner of the revenue, shall appoint an officer to beresponsible for its financial affairs. Such person shall work with theabove-mentioned constitutional offices in performing his duties and shallperform such other related duties as may be assigned to him by the governingbody.
