§ 15.2-1609.5. Submission of statement of expenses.

Each sheriff shall submit a monthly statement of all traveling expensesincurred by him, and by each of his full-time deputies, to his county orcity. The county or city shall pay the expenses to the person or vendorentitled thereto and submit same to the Compensation Board for reimbursementif within the sheriff's annual budget approved by the Board. Payments duecounties and cities under this section shall be paid to the county or citywithin ninety days following the receipt by the Compensation Board of acompleted statement of monthly expenses.
