§ 15.2-1613. Operation of sheriff's office.

Any county or city may appropriate funds for the operation of the sheriff'soffice.

In addition to those items listed in § 15.2-1615.1, counties and cities shallprovide at their expense in accordance with standards set forth in §15.2-1610 a reasonable number of uniforms and items of personal equipmentrequired by the sheriff to carry out his official duties.
