§ 15.2-1636.6. Duties of chairman.

The chairman of the Board shall supervise the administrative work of theBoard; receive, file, collate and classify the reports of the respectiveofficers required to report to the Board; call meetings of the Board wheneverany matters arise requiring its consideration or action; and have availablefor and lay before the Board all information necessary for the decision ofquestions coming before it. He shall conduct all correspondence with thevarious officers within the jurisdiction of the Board and institute andsupervise investigations into the affairs and conduct of all such officers,as and when the Board may direct. He shall preside at all meetings of theBoard and cause to be prepared and recorded proper minutes of the actiontaken at all such meetings, and keep and preserve all papers, books,correspondence and records of the Board.
